How to use

  1. Choose a wood — click a swatch to select it. Hover to see the species name.
  2. Paint — click or drag across the grid. Each cell is one veneer slice.
  3. Resize — use + / − to add or remove columns and rows. Content is preserved.
  4. Preview — see the tile repeated as a strip. Mirror modes give different effects.
  5. Export — PNG for reference, SVG for cutting (real mm dimensions), JSON for backup.

Your design saves automatically in the browser. The strip preview is flat — in practice it wraps around the soundhole. Use the dimensions shown to calculate how many tiles fit your instrument.
