Luthier · Auvergne, France
Instruments built by hand in the Spanish tradition. Every guitar is a conversation between wood, time, and the musician.

02 — The luthier
Youri Soroka is a French-Ukrainian luthier specialising in double-top and concert classical guitars. Based in Auvergne, I design and build instruments that combine traditional craftsmanship with modern acoustic understanding.
Before becoming a full-time luthier, I worked as a software engineer. My journey into guitar making began while repairing an old instrument, which led me to study lutherie and start building my own guitars. What began as a personal passion gradually became a professional workshop dedicated to high-quality classical guitar making.
Contemporary concert guitars
Modern double-top and solid-top classical guitars, individually voiced for balance, clarity, warmth and projection suited to professional performance.
Historical copies
Faithful reproductions of landmark instruments, including the Torres model — built with the same methods and proportions as the originals.
Built for musicians
My guitars are played by professional musicians and dedicated amateurs across many countries. The goal: an instrument that inspires from the very first note.
In the workshop

03 — Contact
Each instrument is built in dialogue with the musician. Whether you're interested in an available guitar or want to commission one, I'd love to hear from you.
